The effects section of the D1600mkII consists of multiple effects processors, providing 192 preset and 192 user effect programs. In every song, you can assign up to 8 insert effects, plus 2 masters and a final processing effect. Mix Automation and sophisticated editing Mixer settings such as fader, EQ, pan, and effects can be stored in a scene, and up to 100 scenes can be stored for each song. D1600mkII mixer data, such as fade and pan, can be transmitted and received via MIDI. Since this recorder is fully digital, you can easily edit and arrange your songs with operations such as copy, insert, and paste. You can also set four Locate points and up to 100 Mark points per song for instant navigation. An assortment of edit tools can help you polish your tracks even further: you can swap audio regions – or all data in tracks – with other tracks, plus you can Reverse, Optimize, Normalize, Fade In or Out, or Expand/Compress track data.
